Why do we only use the King James Version?
This topic could fill the pages of many books.
We will keep it short and simple, and just give you a few things to consider:
1) The first time Satan appears in the Bible, it is to question God's word (Genesis 3:1). We believe Satan's tactic is still the same today.
2) God promised to preserve his word in Psalms 12:6-7. Different versions all read differently, with many removing entire verses! Which one is God's word?
3) There are two "lines" of manuscripts that all bibles come from - Antiochian and Alexandrian. We believe the KJV comes from the pure line of texts from Antioch, and not the corrupt texts from Alexandria, Egypt.
4) Lastly, but most importantly, we believe the Holy Spirit bear witness to the King James Bible as being true. With an honest heart, you must ask "What is truth?".
Compare These Verses
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Without the shed blood of Jesus Christ, there is no forgiveness of sins. Why would the NIV leave out the blood? Furthermore, the NIV verse implies redemption and forgiveness are the same thing. They are not!
...God was manifest in the flesh,...
...He appeared in the flesh,...
Was Jesus God manifest in the flesh? Why do other versions remove that Jesus was God?
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
and they went to another village.
Is Jesus come to save men's lives? Not if you read the NIV!
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.
Why would they leave out WHO you have to believe on?
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!...
How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star,...
Revelation 22:16 tells us that Jesus is the morning star! The NIV implies that Lucifer is the morning star!
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.
For there are three that testify:
1 John 5:7 is a key verse when explaining the trinity and how God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are three in one and one in three. The newer versions destroy this doctrine because one of the key men behind them denied the trinity!

The NIV removes over 64,000 words, as well as many entire verses! Here are a few...
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
