YOU DON’T CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS?
That’s right! Christmas celebration (or Christ’s Mass) is not found in the Bible. Where in the Bible do we read of Christians cutting down an evergreen tree and bringing it into the home? The closest thing to it is found in Jeremiah 10:1-5 and that describes the customs of the pagan’s making idols. Christmas is the Christianization of the pagan celebration of the birth of their god at the time of the winter solstice. Check “Christmas” in any encyclopedia. We love our virgin born Saviour too much to yoke His birth with paganism. While the rest of the churches are having their cantatas and carol singing, we will be singing good old gospel songs and preaching from the Bible. If you are looking for something different come on out.
