IS YOUR GOD A WAFER?
From Catholics to Protestants, and yes, even some Baptists, many within Christianity think that by eating a wafer, or a piece of bread, they are saved and going to heaven. They have been persuaded that that bread has been magically changed into the literal body of Christ. When Jesus said the words, “This is my body,” He no more meant that the bread turned into His literal body and bones than when He said, “I am the door,” did He become a wooden door swinging on hinges. His words were spiritual (John 6:63), and one must trust Jesus by faith as his Saviour to be saved from sin and go to heaven.
