Feelings or Truth?
The modern Charismatic movement is largely based upon feelings rather than truth. Search these scriptures to see that these charismatic practices are unscriptural and wrong.
It is always God’s will to heal – 2 Cor. 12:7-10; 2 Tim. 4:20.
You should speak in tongues – 1 Cor. 13:8-10.
Fall down when preacher hits you on the head – no scripture for this practice except 1 Cor. 14:40 may apply.
Women can preach – 1 Tim. 2:11-15.
Play worldly music and dance like the world in church – 1 Jn. 2:15-17.
You can lose or forfeit your salvation – Jn. 10:27-30; 2 Tim. 1:12; Ph. 1:6; 1 Pe. 1:5.
Jesus said, “and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…Thy word (the Bible) is truth.” Jn. 8:32; 17:17. Come to a church where truth is placed above feelings.
