Creation: Fact or Fiction? (part 1)

There are two scientific models proposed to explain the existence of the universe and life found on the earth. They are the Creation Model and the Evolution Model. The creation model reflects what the Bible states: that God in six days created the universe and everything in it. Exodus 20:11 says, “For in six days the Lord made the heaven and earth…” The evolution model states that over billions of years through random, undirected forces, the universe formed itself and life came from non-life forms and eventually evolved into more complex forms. The creation model has an unchanging textbook called the Bible. The evolution model has an ever-changing textbook found in our schools written by scientists. The creation model lays the groundwork for understanding the existence of sin and death and the need for the Savior Jesus Christ. Whereas, evolution offers no explanation as to why we are here and where we are going. Come to a church where we believe in creation and can give you Biblical answers to life’s questions.
