Creation: Fact or Fiction? (part 3)

Last week we maintained that the complex orderly arrangement in our universe demands the existence of a master author or supreme intelligent Creator. The Creation model with its unchanging textbook, the Bible, gives our universe the age of about 6,000 years old. Whereas, the Evolution model with its almost yearly revisions of school textbooks, gives the universe an age of billions of years old. According to Creation, all things were made in a moment and already mature. Adam and Eve were created as adults; distant stars with their light already reaching earth; trees, plants, fish and animals already fully formed. The fossil record shows an abrupt appearance of mature complex life forms. Evolution, without any fossil evidence of the necessary abundance of transitional life forms expected, simply turns to the element of Time to explain the existence of complex life. In other words, “given enough time, anything can happen.” Reader, Evolution is a religion. It takes more faith to believe in billions of years of randomness to explain life, than it does to believe in an Almighty and living Creator God. By the way, Evolution does not love you, but the Creator does. Come to church.
