BILLY GRAHAM AT NOTRE DAME

The radio commentator, Paul Harvey, recently (back in the 70’s) reported that Billy Graham has been holding evangelistic meetings at the University of Notre Dame. He reported that there were 45,000 in attendance at the last meeting. Fundamental Christians are constantly amazed at the ongoing compromise of Billy Graham. The Bible is very clear that the work of Christ is not to be carried out by an evangelistic team composed of believers and unbelievers (II Co. 6:14-18, Acts 16:16-18).
Whenever we preach the gospel of Christ to lost sinners and leave them with the clear impression that they can be saved by believing in Christ; while at the same time trusting Mary as Mediatrix, the priest as the absolver of sin, and the church as the dispenser of salvation; we preach another gospel.

Whenever a Christian is called to preach the gospel to Roman Catholics, it is his responsibility to clearly state that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. He is responsible to point out that Mary cannot help in salvation, that the priest who claims to be "another Christ," is an impostor, that the Mass cannot bring grace, that Purga¬tory is non-existent, and that the Pope is not the Vicar of Christ, etc.

In Paul's epistle to the Galatians, he made it very clear that those who wanted to add circumcision and the Law of Moses to the finished work of Christ for salvation were in fact preaching "another gospel."  When Billy Graham preaches to Roman Catholics and misleads them into thinking that making a commitment to Christ is only another addition to the long list of false doctrines which the Catholic Church requires in order to achieve final salvation, he errs greatly and in fact has participated in establishing "another gospel."

There is no excuse of refusing to preach the truth and expose the error.  The Apostle Paul would have done no less.
